and Dorothy. Meet Baby Raccoon aka Coonie. Weewee got a new (to-us) pair of pj's in her favorite colors, blue and green, with a raccoon on the front. Oh boy, does she love these pj's. She loves them so much she wants to wear them during the day and she wants to be a raccoon, so she asked me to make her a raccoon face. Of course. Then Luci wanted in on the action, too. She's the big sister coonie. (And I wonder why it takes us forever to get ready and why we're always late everywhere we go: we're not just getting ready here, we're putting together a full-on persona! Usually a different one every day. Sometimes several a day. :)
So all day, I kept looking at these girls and thinking they were wearing eyeglasses with thick dark frames. They had a kind of geeky-chic look going that was adorable - out of the corner of my eye anyway. By the end of the day, Weewee had rubbed off most of her nose and the bottom half of her raccoon eyes; all that was left was a long line across her brow that had her looking like a very small, very blonde, very tired and grumpy Frida Khalo. Hilarious! Definitely one to remember for next halloween...
Oh, how I love this girl's imagination.
