mama, is me free?

Rewind to last Wednesday, our little boodle's birthday. She's free! (Three! :) Lucia was home sick from school with the stomach flu, but Weewee was fine in the morning; as you can see, happily opening presents and having a tea party with me with her new little tea set while Luci napped. She wanted to put on her pretty new dress from Tanini and then...............she threw up all over it. Awwwww, baby girl. Stomach flu on your birthday is NO FUN! NO FAIR! But we made the best of it by cuddling up on the couch (all three of us) and spending the entire day watching TV. That was kind of a special big deal for them since they don't usually get to watch it very often. So at least it was a little special. Dora and Sesame Street and Barney, oh my. And then, of course, lots of loads of laundry. Ick. Thankfully it was a quick bug and we had a do-over day on Saturday when we got to celebrate our girl with friends and family. (More on that soon.) She also had a birthday celebration at school that was so sweet. I love the Waldorf Birthday song.
