It must be Spring in the air, or maybe it was stress relief; last week I rearranged our living room in the midst of all the topsy-turviness. I am loving the extra light the season is bringing into our home, a little more each day, and it feels good to celebrate that with some change and movement in here. Of course there is so much more to be done which, honestly, will probably never get done. Getting the pictures and details right (what details?), organizing toys, books, papers, my knitting and art supplies, Lucia's art supplies and ever-mutliplying artwork (the girl is cray-prolific! What do you mamas do with all the thousands of masterpieces your kids generate?)

But anyway, for now we have a nice cozy spot to sit around and wait to hear from schools and the district as to where Lucia will be going to kindergarden next year. All the deadlines are past and it's out of our hands. I feel good knowing I've done about all I could and then some.
