Part one of our trip was two fun nights spent with our dear friends in Humboldt. A lot of Euchre and a lot of wine went down! The second day, we went out to their parents' winery for an amazing dinner. We love it at the farm: Maggie and Joe; visiting the chickens and turkeys; Alma-Lu's pants came off so that she could splash in a mud puddle; the tree swing; the cat and dogs; building a fire in the woodstove; the food; THE WINE!; the company. It was a perfect misty rainy day.The last picture is of the girls in front of the "Santa Train" we rode in Fort Bragg. Hot cocoa, cookies, singing carols, and even a visit from Santa himself! Wow. Isn't Luci such a hippie with her new bag from Rosie and Stella?
