Phew, I'm happy to say hello to November. I promise you lots of cute Halloween and Pumpkin Patch pictures soon, but for now I need a little breather. Excitement overload (the kids) + chocolate overload (me) = blech.

So instead, check out this amazing ofrenda (altar) in the stairwell at Luci's school in honor of the Day of the Dead. The artwork was made, I'm assuming, by students of many different grades. I love it! I am so inspired by children's artwork. If only I had half their imagination and freedom! I'm going to the kitchen table right now to make something to add to the altar. I'd so much rather make that than dinner. :) Also, check out how adorable Luci's teacher is in her Frida Khalo/Day of the Dead-inspired ensemble. Love her.
